The Business Bennetts on Bellarine is a family owned and operated Cellar Door that's located in the beautiful surrounds of the Bellarine Peninsula. The business has been in the midst of strong growth after a big Summer that saw hordes of locals and tourists enjoying the buzzing atmosphere with a glass of wine and pizza in hand. We're now in the process of seeking our new Head Chef to oversee a small tight knit team and to drive our food offering. The Role Enjoy a high level of autonomy with the menu and full license to go in a range of directions with the food Manage, train and motivate your own tight knit team in the kitchen Oversee ordering, stock / cost control, staff management, events and menu development Assist in planning and overseeing innovative and fun 'wine dinners', held monthly Work with the management team in supervising costs and further strengthening the guest experience Get two full days off through the week and only a few dinner services, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the coastal lifestyle The Ideal Candidate Will have a minimum 3 years experience managing or coordinating a commercial kitchen Brings his or her own personal flair to the kitchen and a desire to develop the menu Can work well under pressure, has strong attention to detail and remains organised Has a good temperament and enjoys working with like-minded people Is currently living on the Bellarine or be planning a move down over the coming months Must be available to work weekends If this sounds like you and you're interested in joining the Bennetts team in a key position, please email through your current CV and a Cover Letter to Tom - click apply
