The Seaton Lane Inn Sous Chef We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at The Seaton Lane Inn. We take great pride in giving our customers the best possible experience when they step through our doors! We’re looking for a Sous Chef who is a motivated, self-starter and who takes pride in everything they do. Ideally, you will have a proven understanding of leading a busy shift and actively directing the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef, but we value your attitude and character as much as your experience. You will need as our Sous Chef to lead by example and inspire and motivate others to deliver to a consistently high standard as you will be a senior key role within the kitchen team. Key Responsibilities: · To help produce, monitor, and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply. · To have total accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen service in the absence of the Head Chef. · Assistance with kitchen management task including: Ordering of food and food-related products using nominated suppliers Achieving budgeted costs for food, wastage, and wages. Menu development Stock control Team management and training Daily briefings Cleanliness Full job spec available on request. Who are we looking for as our Sous Chef?
